Description: Fire is a promising young doe who has had quite a competitive show career. As a two year old, she placed 2nd at the Minnesota State Fair among her old herdmates of the Blissberry herd, and was Reserve Senior Champion at the Nebraska State Fair! Quite a feat for a first freshener that moved 530 miles to a new herd in May, and made a 2,200 mile round trip journey to the ADGA National Show! This year in 2017, she placed 3rd at the Minnesota State Fair, right behind her old herdmates! Fire's dam, GCH Catch Me, has always been one of our favorite does in the Blissberry herd, and we think Fire is very reminiscent of her dam. Her sire, Rocketeer, is the littermate brother to the 2012 ADGA Reserve National Champion/Reserve Best Udder/Total Performer, SGCH Blissberry Rock My World. When Fire was offered to us as a foundation doe for our Nubian herd, we knew she would be the perfect doe for us. We absolutely love Fire and see a bright future ahead for her. Fire is a very balanced doe throughout, picking up points in all areas of the scorecard. In general appearance, she is smoothly blended in the front end assembly and stands on strong feet and legs with beautiful pasterns. She is wide in the loin and rump, and carries that width down into her rear legs while on the move. In dairy strength, Fire has a beautiful, long swan neck and is very stylish and feminine throughout. She is open and arched in the flank and angled in the ribs. In body capacity, Fire has a long, wide rear barrel and fullness in the chest floor. Fire's mammary system is well attached with a beautiful rear udder. She has a high rear udder with a wide arch, and a beautifully extended fore udder. She is a doe with so much balance throughout, we think she will be an amazing foundation for our Nubian breeding program. Fire is bred to Blissberry Almost Had You for 2019 kids.
