Description: We are so proud and honored to own Mocha. She is a doe that truly keeps getting better and better with age. As a kid, Mocha placed in the middle of the classes and as an awkward yearling did the same. In the fall of her two year old year, she really started to come together, finishing her championship at State Fairs! With every consecutive freshening, she keeps maturing and looking better and better. Of course, we are extremely honored to have National Champion in our herd, and are so thankful that we had to opportunity to buy her as a kid. Mocha's record for 32 Best of Breeds including 5 years of Best of Breed and Best Udder of Breed at Minnesota State Fair just astonishes us. We really love Mocha's structural correctness in general appearance, with excellent width and flatness of rump, levelness of topline, and strength of pasterns. Her most notable characteristic is probably that of her mammary system. She is extremely productive and has strong fore, rear, and lateral attachments. Her strength of medial and width and height of her rear udder arch make her rear view impressive. Another thing we really appreciate about Mocha is how she balances dairy character and body capacity. She excels in openness, angularity, and cleanliness throughout, but also has good strength of bone, and width, depth, and length of body to be a truly correct dairy goat.

We currently have six daughters of Mocha: 2012 Rajah, 2013 CH Nakoma and CH Faline, and 2016 Mulan, Belle, and Leia. Her 2016 ET buckling, Kovu, is also retained.  Rajah's littermate sister, Esmeralda, was crowned 2013 Reserve Junior National Champion and resides in the Blissberry herd. Mocha's 2013 buckling, Bagheera, has some very promising young daughters in the Ober-Ridge herd!
