He excels in size and scale, length and levelness of topline as well as width and flatness to rump. In general appearance, King Leonidas also stands on very strong feet and legs and has a correct front end assembly. We are very excited about his balance throughout, and look forward to seeing his first kids. Leonidas's dam, SGCH Kersee, is a doe who we love a lot. She is an extremely balanced doe, having a globular shaped mammary system with correct and smoothly blended attachments. Kersee also excels in general appearance, having strong fore and rear pasterns as well as a tight and smoothly blended front end assembly. Although only a moderately sized doe, she does excel in a balance between body capacity and dairy character. Kersee was leased to our friends of Panaceas for the 2013 & 2014 kidding seasons, but has since returned to Deidrago. Leonidas's sire, Trilogy, is a buck with an exciting pedigree. Three of his daughters earned him 1st place Junior Get of Sire at the 2014 Nebraska State Fair and 2014 Kansas State Fair, and have freshened with lovely mammary systems.
