He was quite the surprise when he was born- having ears and being correctly Oberhasli colored! We were so excited by Rhea as a milking yearling as she started to mature in the spring that we decided to keep Dionysus. Rhea's mammary system is very exciting, and reminiscent of her dam's, SGCH Kersee. We love this dam line and are very excited to have it influence our experimental breeding program more widely. Dionysus is one of most elegant kids we have raised, demanding your attention all the time! He excels in balance of the scorecard, are really has outstanding dairy strength. Dionysus has an incredibly long neck, open ribs, and a lot of cleanliness throughout. He maintains correct substance of bone, and depth of heart girth. Also in general appearance, we love the length of loin and rump, and strong feet and pasterns that Dionysus shows. Dionysus was sold to our friends at Nevada Stars Dairy Goats.
